International 12 Metre Association Americas Fleet

The Americas Fleet which is part of the International 12 Metre Class, now 115 years old, represents a living legacy of racing yacht design. Crafted by some of the world’s most renowned naval architects—such as Olin Stephens, Clinton Crane, William Fife III, Philip Rhodes, Raymond Hunt, Johan Anker, and Ben Lexcen—these yachts pushed the boundaries of innovation. From 1907 to 1987, they stood as the pinnacle of yacht development, competing at the highest levels of international sailing, including the Olympic Games (1908–1920) and the America’s Cup (1958–1987).
